FULUFJÄLLSTRAMPET 2008 CANCELLED!

Saturday, July 19th 2008 - Start/Goal in Sörsjön

Come and challenge yourself on a bicycle! Fulufjällstrampet is a recreational bicycle ride that goes all around the mountain chain of Fulufjället and its national park. Parts of the race goes through Norway.

Fulufjällstrampet is on of the hardest recreational bicycle ride in Sweden (see the profile on the logotype). It is almost 160 kms long. The start is in Sörsjön and we bike nortbound to Särna. After that, a heavy upward ride goes to Gördalen. Then, it is going downwards through all Norway. We bike through Ljørdalen and continue to Støa. After that, we are back in Sweden and we continue down to Fulunäs, which is the lowest point of the race. A slight upward ride finishes the race in Sörsjön.

The fastest racers have a finish time of 4.35 hours.

Maximum amount of racers: 200. Food is served after the ride.

Ride 1: 160 km, all around Fulufjället: 250 SEK/27 € (500 SEK/53 € for same-day application) - start at 09.00.

Ride 2: 76 km, Lomkällan (Särna) t/r 200 SEK/22 € (400 SEK/43 € for same-day application) - start at 09.15.

Same-day application (ea) can be done at the start from 07.00. NOTE! Double fee.

The application must be done at latest on July, 14th and the wire registered on July, 15th. After that day, there will be double fee.

We are back in 2009 with a new Fulufjällstramp.
